Our Bay Leaves’ trees are grown here in New Orleans, Louisiana, where some of the best food is made and our trees are grown in the fertile soil near the Mighty Mississippi River put nutrients and silt naturally in the ground.
First let me say my great grandfather brought the roots of these bay trees from Palermo, Italy about 80 years ago and used the leaves in his famous Italian dishes and his brother owned a Italian restaurant and used it in the dinners there. We now use it in our foods and thought since it tasted so great and my friends would always say it does not come that fresh and good and green and it’s very expensive in the store, after several times of giving free samples and leaves away for free, my son asked if I ever thought about selling it at a cheap price and fresh leaves, flavorful leaves and fast shipping….well it took me a year to think about it and than I finally listed it.
